 Happy Landings is a loose impact absorbent surface, specifically designed for children's play areas, and is an economic alternative to playgrade bark.
it is manufactured from virgin softwood to give a long life and durability. The chip is graded, dust extracted and tested to BS/EN 1177:1998, making it also suitable for public/commercial play areas.
Happy Landings is tested by the Centre for Sports Technology to give critical fall height for the following depths.

To calculate your bag requirement, multiply the length of the area by the width plus 10% settlement. Choose your depth and divide by the cover factor (allow 10% for settlement)

Directions for use:
- Level the play surface reasonably well.
- Build a timber curb around the play area
- Lay black weed suppressant matting
- Place in the play area the required depth of Happy Landings
Maintenance:
- Rake the surface level regularly
- Remove debris, stones etc.
- Top up low areas
- A light forking through once or twice a year will help prolong the life span
Warning: not suitable for children under 36 months to be left unattended as may cause choking.
